A father, before he died, said to his daughter: “this is a watch your grandfather gave me and it is more than 200 years old.
But before I give it to you, go to the watch shop, the first one you find, and tell them I want to sell it, and see how much he offers you”.
She went, and then came back to her father, and said, “the watchmaker offered 5 dollars because it’s old”.
He said to her : “go to the coffee shop”.
She went and then came back, and said: “They offered $5, father”.
“Now go to the museum and show that watch”.
She went then came back, and said to her father “They offered me a million dollars for this piece!!”
Her father said: “I wanted to show you that the right place/people value you in the right way.”
Don’t find yourself in the wrong place and get angry if you are not valued.
Those that know your value are those who appreciate you. Never stay in a place where nobody sees your value”.
Know your worth.

So beautiful and wise words! Thank you!

Well articulated.
Short..crisp..conveys it all..
Rejection doesn’t mean you were not good…it may mean they were not qualified to handle you..
