Vegetarian Masala Fried Rice
Rice, onions, carrot, beans, cabbage, green peas, oil, garlic, ginger, salt, curry leaves, green chillies, dhaniya powder, black pepper, red mirchi powder
Soak and boil rice – preferably basmati rice
Heat oil in a pan, saute finely chopped onions,
add ginger, garlic, green chillies, curry leaves and the finely chopped vegetables -saute well
add red chilli powder, black pepper powder, dhaniya powder, salt to taste
Mix well and allow to cook for a few minutes without any water
Add the boiled rice and mix well
Serve Hot garnished with dhaniya leaves

Work from Home during the COVID-19 Pandemic and the subsequent nationwide lockdown, gave me a chance to spend more time with my family and ofcourse helped me re-invent my cooking knowledge and try out more healthy yummy dishes for my family in the evenings and over the weekend; it saved my commuting time and energy, my day would start at 5am as usual, finish off all my daily household chores, then office work 8am to 5pm, from 5pm I could spend my time for my family trying our new dishes and eat them fresh hot with my family, I begin this Series Tasty Buds.. you may try out a few ones, most of them are simple, easy and quick to prepare, so read ,try our Tasty Buds !!!
