Curd Halwa (Dahi ka halwa)
an unusual dish – a delicious / tasty recipe, you will love it – easy to make too !!
Curd 1 cup, Sugar 1 cup, Rawa ½ cup, cashewnuts, elaichi, rose powder, saffron, nutmeg, ghee
Roast in ghee – rawa until golden brown, switch off the gas
add thick curd (hung curd) and 1 cup sugar or jaggery powder – mix well
switch on the gas, add rose water, saffron,nutmeg, elaichi powder and allow to dissolve
a rich dessert curd halwa is ready, serve hot garnished with dryfruits
Work from Home during the COVID-19 Pandemic and the subsequent nationwide lockdown, gave me a chance to spend more time with my family and ofcourse helped me re-invent my cooking knowledge and try out more healthy yummy dishes for my family in the evenings and over the weekend; it saved my commuting time and energy, my day would start at 5am as usual, finish off all my daily household chores, then office work 8am to 5pm, from 5pm I could spend my time for my family trying our new dishes and eat them fresh hot with my family, I begin this Series Tasty Buds.. you may try out a few ones, most of them are simple, easy and quick to prepare, so read ,try our Tasty Buds !!!
