Actions…. Karma !!

Deeds are of supreme importance in this universe. Whatever a person does, he is punished or rewarded accordingly. The life that we get on this Earth is a blessing of our own past and present Karmas. All the small sins done, intentionally or unintentionally contribute to our sufferings. When you are in pain or suffering, don’t Blame God.
Half of your worries will vanish away when you attain an understanding and acceptance about the fact that you have done something wrong in life, you are dearly sorry about it and you are repenting enough. Remaining half you have to understand that there exist “Karma”, so what goes around comes around. You will have to repay for your deeds in any possible way..

Make promise to yourself, watch your actions, do good. You will be at peace mentally and emotionally. Everything heals. Your heart heals. The mind heals. Wounds heal. Your happiness is always going to come back. Bad times don’t last. Rather be grateful to bad times. It’s through the difficult times in our life, that we are able to grow. It’s when we are tested that we are able to rise, push through and come out the other side stronger, braver and better. The truth is, there are some important lessons in life that we are only taught through difficult times and they can become the silver lining to the darkness.

Life Upside-Down

You come to know who your real friends are. Eventually, you will learn who really matters. Nothing builds our strength, Nothing forces us to leverage what we have, dig deep and come up with every ounce of integrity, patience and strength like a hard time. Bad phase alters us and change the way we view our lives. We have learned who and what matters in our life and undoubtedly we have a greater appreciation for them. Surviving hardship gives us a broader perspective on what hardship really is. You will look back on the things you use to complain about and be thankful they are your only worries. After we have survived, we are given a deep gratitude for our life.

To find the light, we have to go through darkness. In the midst of it, take a deep breath and Be thankful to god for the hard times, every struggle in your life has shaped you into person you are today

Take a Chance….Live Life Now !

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You will have your heart broken and you will break others’ hearts. You will fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you will cry because time is flying by.  So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you have never been hurt.

chance.jpg

Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone’s hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts.

Don’t be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset, is a second of happiness that you can never get back.

Always believe that something wonderful is going to happen. Even with all the ups and downs, never take a day for granted. Cherish the little things and hug the ones you love!

A Working Woman’s Dilemma

‘A Working Woman’s Dilemma’

It’s 8.30am
The maid has not arrived.
The breakfast is not ready,
And I have tiffins to fill.
The laundry heap increases,
The groceries need refill.
The elder one has homework,
The younger one’s still sleeping.
There’s no egg in the fridge,
The milk just spills over.
I have a conference today,
My blouse needs ironing.
There’s a workshop in the school,

I don’t know how to manage.

My mother in law is here To ask medicines for backache.
A call from the bathroom  “I’ve forgotten the towel ”
The cat mews, the birds chirp, The plants need watering.

The phone beeps To remind me of a pleural tap.
The receptionist calls,  Full appointments overall.

My shoulders aches – I have no one to tell.
My eyes are heavy With last night’s on call.

I don’t remember the last time I had been to the parlor.
My nails are brittle, My hair needs a color.

My clothes have lost the sheen; I need a wardrobe makeover.

But before that I’ve to pick up – The toys that are scattered.

I think it was last year – When I spoke to my sister.

Can’t recollect the moment – When I chatted with my mother.

I’m no feminist, I’m no atheist

I know not what I’m  More than a housekeeper, a mother and a doctor.
I may be an orator, A painter, an artist, A singer, a poetess, A traveller, a cyclist, A writer, a musician, A craftsman, philanthropist.

The last time I tried To find out my ability, My child scored badly

And you know what followed exactly.

So next time she got a gold medal, They praised her father’s genes.

I remembered my trophies Which no one had seen.

I know not what my daughter Will do after growing up.
But I’m sure these responsibilities Will never stop to follow her.

Marriages are made in heaven; Love is a fairly tale.

I’m sure every working woman Has a different story to tell.

So, whenever you look At a house that’s tidy,
A child who is happy, Intelligent and healthy,

Remember, it’s the woman behind Who sacrificed her sleep, her degrees, her passion, her ambitions and needs.

Give her a pat, a word of praise, a ear to listen, a helping hand.

It’s always a woman who makes the house a home.
But it’s everyone’s duty To make her feel at home.

Devotee

Be simple and sincere.

Idol-Worship

It is sheer waste of money to burden the pictures and idols in the shrines and altars of your homes with a weight of garlands, and to parade costly utensils, vessels and offerings, to show off your devotion. This is deception; it demeans Divinity, imputing to it the desire for pomp and publicity.

To shower grace, I ask only for purity of heart.

Do not calculate distance between you and Me; do not interpose the formalities of the Guru-Sishya (preceptor-disciple) relationship, or even the altitudinal distinctions of the God-Devotee relationship, between you and Me.

I am neither Guru nor God; I am You; You are I – this is the Truth. There is no distinction. That which appears so is the delusion.

You are waves; I am the ocean.

Know this and be free, and lead a divine life !

Fanatic…

Vivekananda Quote :

We must first know how to work without attachment, then we will not become fanatics.

When we know that this world is like a dog’s curly tail and will never get straightened, we shall not become fanatics.

If there were no fanaticism in the world, it would make much more progress than it does now.

fanatic images.jpg

A Fanatic person is an enthusiast, zealot, bigot, hothead, militant – a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, especially for an extreme religious or political cause

Fanatic, zealot, militant, devotee refer to persons showing more than ordinary support for, adherence to, or interest in a cause, point of view, or activity. … Fanatic further implies unbalanced or obsessive behavior: a wild-eyed fanatic.

What is FanaticismSigns to Consider. Fanaticism, is an irrational and irregular excessive belief on something. It involves uncritical and unreasonable zeal, faith and enthusiasm particularly with religion, cult, pop culture benchmark set in the field of music, entertainment, politics or even with “only” one person.

An example of fanaticism is following a set of rules even to the extent of killing other individuals.
